The Annual Convention & Tech Fair of the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association, CSDA, member of IACDS, was held in the luxurious Gran Meliá Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
The event keynote speaker, Mr. Nathan Schwagler, introduced attendees to an innovative facilitated meeting, communication and problem-solving process using the LEGO Serious Play® method.
Don’t let the name fool you – serious play means serious business! The interactive presentation was followed up by a highly-focused workshop that went further in-depth on the concept.
This outside-the-box, interactive approach gave attendees something to build on as they returned to their businesses.
The convention program also included presentations on underwater wire sawing applications, silica control, and suppression, the use of GPR technology, hydro-demolition applications and women in the concrete cutting industry.
In addition, the CSDA Tech Fair gave contractors the opportunity to meet key vendors from the industry.
