Introduction
IACDS ‘Diamond Tools and Safety’ working group aims to ensure the safe use of diamond tools and to professionalize the industry.
To accomplish this goal, among other things, this document has been prepared, with its main objectives being to introduce diamond tools families, teach risk assessment, and make recommendations to ensure the health and safety of workers.
Its objective is to prepare educational materials for new workers in the drilling and sawing industry. These materials are intended to promote the sector and worker safety and attract new talent.
This is a very general guide as it is intended to be valid internationally, and does not cover issues such as rules and regulations that must be taken into account locally.
