Women’s voices
Throughout the centuries, women had a particular difficulty accessing certain industries. The concrete drilling and sawing industry was no exception.
Although the situation got better in recent years, the struggle is not over. To this day, women are still underrepresented in the drilling and sawing industry. They come to work, go through hardships, and give it all for the betterment and innovation of the sector. However, when the time comes, their voices are still often being silenced and ignored; and we are fighting to change that.
Therefore, the International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers, IACDS, wants to focus on women’s points of view within the sector. Our associates took their time to narrate their unique experiences in the industry.
