Fachverbandes Betonbohren und -sägen Deutschland e.V celebrated its annual event on June 9, 2018.
In the meeting, the association elected the board, inaugurate its museum in Hamm and presented the new tool-free bit connection named “PQ6”.
The museum consists of a new facility for old concrete drilling and sawing machines, collected in cooperation with the Vocational Training Institute of the Construction Industry in Hamm (ABZ Hamm).

Furthermore, the museum includes an Information Centre for Demolition and Concrete Separation Technology, that was officially opened the same day.
The goal of the museum is to prepare a long-standing technical history of the concrete drilling and sawing industry and make it accessible to future specialists and the general public in the form of an exhibition.

In recent years, thanks to the support of various specialist companies and manufacturers, a considerable number of historical machines have been assembled.
Finally, regarding the “PQ6”, it is a technical innovation in the form of a 6-fold polygonal profile was developed on the initiative and with the support of the association in cooperation with the German Engineering Federation (VDMA).
