Celebrating 40 Years: The FBS General Assembly in Rostock-Warnemünde

- From May 31st to June 1st, 2024, the Annual General Meeting of the Concrete Drilling and Sawing Association Germany, FBS, took place in the picturesque town of Rostock-Warnemünde.
This year’s assembly held special significance as the association celebrated its 40th anniversary, a milestone marked by the presence of numerous honored guests from the industry and various institutions.
The meeting saw the election of three board members. Chairman Manfred Witzke and second chairman Michael Huber were both re-elected, reaffirming their leadership positions. Additionally, Michael Findeis, Managing Director of Findeis Betonbohrservice GmbH, was elected as the new board member for special tasks.
The event was more than just formalities and elections. The festivities began on Friday evening with a reception and dinner buffet at the nearby spa house, setting a warm and convivial tone for the weekend. On Saturday morning, Mr. Manfred Witzke officially opened the meeting, extending a warm welcome to the assembled members, guests, and honored attendees.
The weekend was filled with enriching activities, highlighted by an afternoon of events followed by an evening party on a boat. Attendees enjoyed a scenic cruise down the Warnow River from Warnemünde to Rostock and back, accompanied by dinner, music, and the beautiful sunset. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and networking, allowing colleagues to bond over shared experiences and insights.
