DAI-ICHI CUTTER KOGYO enters the Diamond Award 2025

The Japanese company DAI-ICHI CUTTER KOGYO joins the Diamond Award 2025 with the job Over Bridge removal within 16 hours. The bridge, located over the Hokuriku Expressway, was decided to be demolished and removed. The job could be due to factors that affected the construction like the decrease in users or the possibility of it being damaged in the event of a natural disaster, among others.
To make it possible, they divided the reduced time into four steps, which included the wall balustrade and overhanging floor slab cutting, cutting of overhanging slab, the bridge girder cutting and the bridge girder edge and pier cutting.
During this time, the company faced challenges: everything had to be done mainly at night, naturally, without accidents or injuries, and cleanly.
