ARASAR GROUP joins the Diamond Award 2025

The ARASAR GROUP participate in the Diamond Award 2025 with the job Reconstruction of the concrete structure of the pressure face of sector gate No. 3 on the spillway dam of the Upper Svir Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Svir River.
The monolithic reinforced concrete structure designated for dismantling was part of the pressure face located in the spillway channel at a depth of 15 to 30 meters. According to the plans, a section of this structure needed to be dismantled to enable the installation of a repair gate, block the water flow, and proceed with subsequent work after the water was pumped out.
The work was carried out year-round and the process faced extreme weather conditions, with air temperatures that reached -35°C in winter. Moreover, it faced other challenges like the low visibility in the work area and the suspension during the fish spawning season.
