First event for Roderich Braun as IACDS President: SVBS Annual Meeting

The IACDS President, Roderich Braun recently attended the SVBS annual event that took place on April 29 in Switzerland. It was his first event in the Presidency.
The gathering kicked off at 14:30 with drinks and snacks, followed by official speeches starting at 15:00. Roderich Braun delivered the first keynote address, followed by speeches from German Association representatives Michael Findeis and Christof Boxberger. Robert Brändli, who was re-elected as President of the Swiss Association, also gave a speech.
The event fostered valuable networking opportunities, with attendees enjoying drinks and dinner afterward at a nearby farm. The IACDS President praised the event, calling it “very nice” and an excellent chance to engage with industry peers.
Looking ahead, the IACDS President confirmed plans to attend the German Association’s event in Augsburg at the end of May, further strengthening ties within the international concrete cutting and drilling community.
