BOHREX, candidate at the Diamond Award 2025

BOHREX enters the Diamond Award 2025 with a job that took place in the Flumenthal power plant in Switzerland and consisted of the complete demolition of a riverside wall using vibration-free methods while maintaining the hydropower plant operational.

The demolition process also had to consider underwater elements, with temporary steel structures installed on the exterior of the wall as retention measures for three wall openings, which were later removed. At the beginning, they had to make partial demolition using a wire saw and cutting the reinforced concrete, and the following stages included tasks like underwater operations or the installation of holding structures.
