VBS held the 24th Concrete Drillers’ Day

The meanwhile 24th Concrete-Drilling-Day took place this year from April 8th to 9th, 2022 in Salzburg, after a two-year break due to corona. 43 members took part in the two-day concrete drill day. The start on Friday afternoon began with a city tour in a vintage electric 0 bus built in 1957 and a city tour through the old town of Salzburg. At the end of the first day there was a knight’s dinner with hearty food and medieval entertainment at Hohensalzburg Fortress.
The annual general meeting was on Saturday. After the opening by the Chairwoman Maria Lang, there were greetings from Thomas Springer Ehrenmann of the German Concrete Drilling and Sawing Association, the Swiss Association President Robert Brändli and the President of the IACDS International Association Michael Findeis. After the report by the chairwoman Maria Lang, the cash report with the 2022 budget followed by Georg Lahofer. After an industry report on the current situation after two years of crisis by Bernhard Seidl, there was a lecture by Ing. Mag.jur Gottfried Leitner on “The 1 x1 of correct order processing, from the order to the supplement”. Alternatively, the ladies who traveled with us went on a shopping tour to historical shops and craft workshops.
