The diamond tools & safety working group starts its activity

- One of the main objectives is to develop a reference guide on the topic.
The beginning of 2022 has been marked for IACDS by the start of the activity of a new specific working group: diamond tools & safety.
The first meeting of this working group was held on January 26. As usual, it was held in an online format, which facilitated the participation of industry professionals from all over the world.
In addition, this first meeting and, ultimately, the working group, is attended by numerous members of FEPA, the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives.
Its main goal is to prepare educational materials addressed to new workers in the drilling and sawing industry. These materials are intended not only to promote the industry and worker safety, but also to attract new talent to the sector.
An informative guide on the subject is expected to be published in the second half of the year, around October or November 2022.
