SEDDRe’s Rencontre des Métiers 2025 brings together industry professionals in Angers
7/07/2025
On June 4 and 5, 2025, IACDS member SEDDRe held its annual Rencontre des Métiers in Angers, France, gathering professionals from deconstruction, depollution, construction waste recycling, and concrete sawing and drilling.
Over two days, participants took part in thematic workshops focused on the key challenges and opportunities facing the industry, from sustainability and regulatory updates to innovation and digital tools. The event also featured exhibitor showcases, allowing manufacturers and suppliers to present their latest technologies and services.
Concrete sawing and drilling were prominently included in the discussions, underlining their growing role in sustainable construction and circular economy strategies. The presence of very different stakeholders was very fruitful in improving our understanding of some controversial items and enabling SEDDRe to be part of possible ways of improvement. A message is also clear that their members will sooner or later have to take into account EU objectives, for they will more and more input our national legislation through Directives, Regulations, or harmonized norms.
As a proud member of IACDS, SEDDRe continues to foster knowledge-sharing and collaboration through initiatives like this, strengthening the professional community across Europe
