IACDS President attends 41st FBS General Assembly in Augsburg

On May 30–31, 2025, the city of Augsburg, Germany, hosted the 41st Annual General Assembly of the German Concrete Drilling and Sawing Association (FBS). The two-day event offered a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and networking among industry professionals.
The program began on Friday evening with a relaxed BBQ and networking session at the Leonardo Hotel Augsburg. On Saturday morning, participants attended several insightful presentations, including one from Roderich Braun, President of the International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers (IACDS), representing the international perspective.
The highlight of the event was the General Assembly in the afternoon, where four board members were unanimously re-elected. In addition, Thomas Springer, FBS Honorary President, was elected to the association’s Honorary Council, which oversees adherence to the association’s code of conduct and quality standards.
The event successfully reinforced both national and international collaboration within the professional concrete cutting and drilling community.
