BRAUN, RE-CORTA and DIMACON won the Diamond Award 2022

The companies BRAUN RÜCKBAUTECHNOLOGIEN, RE-CORTA DEMOLICIÓN TÉCNICA and the app DIMACON were the winners of the Diamond Award 2022.
The ceremony was held on 27th of October in Munich (Germany) at the Bauma trade fair. The three winners were formally announced and were given a recognition plate. This recognition was given not only to winners but also to all shortlisted companies in each of the categories of this edition: job, product and the new introduced category, Public Award.
Before the ceremony, the International Association of Concrete Drillers & Sawers celebrated a networking event to promote business relations between suppliers, contractors, national associations, and other professionals in the sector and after it they celebrated between pretzels and friends.
Winners
BRAUN RÜCKBAUTECHNOLOGIEN won the Product Award with the Braun Centrifugal Cutter (BBC), the development of a special system for the mechanical cutting of contaminated aluminum pipes of very small diameter. This device allows the safe dismantling of nuclear facilities.
In the Job category the winner was the Spanish contractor RE-CORTA DEMOLICIÓN TÉCNICA. Their work in the opening of galleries in the Vilasoutos (Lugo) dam body for comprehensive rehabilitation of bottom drains impressed the jury and gave them the award.
The first ever Public Award went to DIMACON. This innovative app was designed by and for concrete cutting and drilling companies to digitize their business in an easy and effective way.
