FBS Museum

Presentation

FACHVERBAND BETONBOHREN UND -SÄGEN DEUTSCHLAND e.V, the German Concrete Drilling and Sawing Association, and member of IACDS, has a Museum in the city of Hamm.

This Museum focuses on old concrete drilling and sawing machinery, with several historical machines present in the exhibition area.

In the future, it will be also a meeting place within the context of training and further education, which is responsible for concrete drilling and sawing, or for industry-related events such as regional meetings and customer events.

Foundation stone

The foundation stone in the form of a drilled concrete core was laid by Norbert Braun and Manfred Rütters, first and second chairmen of the Museum Association, together with Thomas Springer, chairman of the trade association, and Gerhard Geske, head of the ABZ Hamm.

About the Museum Association

The association founded in 2006 the Museum for old concrete drilling and sawing e. V. has set itself the goal of maintaining the long-standing technical history of concrete drilling and the sawmilling sector and to make it accessible to future professionals and the general public in the form of an exhibition.

Under the chairmanship of Norbert Braun, experienced entrepreneurs work together on an honorary basis in the currently 60-member museum association.

In recent years, thanks to the support of various specialist companies and manufacturers, a considerable number of historical machines have been assembled.
