The International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers, IACDS, has recently started working on the 4^th edition of its International Drilling & Sawing Industry Report.

This biennial publication aims to collect data of high value for concrete drilling and sawing professionals across the world. It provides an overview of the current situation of the sector.

The study, in line with its predecessors, includes a series of comparisons with the results of the previous editions, as well as forecasts for the current year.

As Mr Michael Findeis, the coordinator of this project, explains:

“The primary goal of this report is to study the trends so that the companies in this industry are more prepared when facing the future.”

How does it work?

Participation in the Industry Report is carried out in two separate surveys: one aimed at contractors and the other, for suppliers. The questionnaires are divided into countries and are available in 6 languages for easier comprehension.

Completing the survey takes around 5 minutes and touches upon several questions. It allows for the recollection of the general results for the entire continent, as well as specific countries. All the responses to the survey are anonymous.

The surveys will be open for submissions until April 30th, 2024. The full report is set to be released in July of this year in a digital format, and the summary of the results will appear in a special article in the IACDS Yearbook 2024.

As a token of appreciation, those companies that have correctly filled out the surveys will be granted full and free access to the study. Otherwise, the access to the publication will cost € 100.
